The fork seals are located beneath the dust caps (the dust cap can usually be reused, but should be filled with a small amount of grease). To provide better protection against contaminants, our seals\u2014unlike some other seals on the market\u2014feature an additional dust lip of their own (BASL version). Due to our consistently high quality standards, we use high-quality shaft seals designed for industrial applications. It is recommended to replace both fork seals. Tip: Before installing the fork, apply a generous amount of grease to the inside of the seal; this will allow the steerer tube to slide smoothly in<\/p>\n<p>.
