For BMW forks with a stanchion diameter of 40 mm. The fork seals are located beneath the dust caps (the dust cap can usually be reused, but should be filled with a small amount of grease). To provide better protection against contaminants, our seals—unlike some other seals on the market—feature an additional dust lip of their own (BASL version). Due to our consistently high quality standards, we use high-quality shaft seals designed for industrial applications. It is recommended to replace both fork seals.
