Back then, the fuel filler cap for the G/S was supplied from the factory without a lock. Nowadays, given the cost of fuel, a tank without a lock is an invitation to steal fuel or commit other outrages.
The tank cap has an integrated ventilation system. A hose is no longer required. Made of stainless steel. Converted by us to a special Viton seal that perfectly withstands the current fuel composition!
