This G/S is completely original, accident-free, and features the distinctive characteristics of the first series. An original BMW windshield was added later. The G/S left the factory in July 1981 and was first registered in December 1981. The first registered owner was BMW Berlin. The last owner has been riding the G/S since 1985. For family reasons, the BMW has only been ridden to the TÜV for inspections in recent years.

The mileage of 86,500 is therefore verifiable. Aside from the windshield, there are no additional entries noted in the registration document. The engine and frame numbers, of course, match. The BMW has been professionally repainted in the original factory color, Alpine White. The motorcycle is in its original condition; no aftermarket body parts have been installed. 
The G/S is, of course, in good condition and ready to ride. The exhaust muffler is original, unwelded, and in very good condition. Naturally, the service booklet, onboard tools, and the original air pump are included.

The engine starts cleanly and willingly and runs well with no cause for complaint. The gearbox shifts well, the brakes stop.The electrics work flawlessly.
