For valve cover screw connections on BMW 2-valve engines

The M8 stud bolt for the cap nut of the valve cover screw connection can come loose for various reasons. Threaded repair inserts rarely provide a remedy here. The better solution is the RGV repair studs from BOXERBASIS. Installation is very simple: Drill out the thread (ø 8.1 mm), cut a new thread with an M10 tap and countersink with a 45° countersink. Then screw in the repair bolts using threadlocker. The chamfer ensures that the repair bolts fit perfectly with the correct screw-in depth. The repair bolts are custom-made from stainless steel especially for the BOXERBASIS.
