Since the bolts for the upper and lower strut guide are no longer available from BMW in the correct length and hardness, we have procured replacements. Although screws of a similar length are available on the market, they do not have the correct specifications. Incorrect hardness or the combination of parts with different specifications can have fatal consequences – up to and including breakage of the bolt. A set consists of a bolt, nut and two corrugated washers. Two sets are required per vehicle. The thread of the bolt protrudes slightly further than the original and therefore slightly touches the edge of the seat. We still have numerous similar and other used parts in stock.
