VV-BMW from Helmut Wüstenhöfer (WÜDO)
Racing machine from Helmut Wüstenhöfer. VV conversion with road approval, racing engine, central suspension strut.
Racing machine from Helmut Wüstenhöfer!
This VV BMW was the racing bike of Helmut Wüstenhöfer from Dortmund, known as WÜDO, with road registration, Fallert oil pan, etc. until he sold it.
The green version (see photo, © Helmut Wüstenhöfer) is the bike as Wüdo sold it at the time. The buyer had it converted directly by Uli Völkl to cantilever or central suspension, from then on it was red. It is now a road-legal VV with the Wüdo racing engine and gearbox.
The engine runs sensationally, the gearbox shifts superbly, and the rear end with the cantilever swingarm looks great, as does the typical VV 2in1 exhaust system and the VV footrest system! First registered in 1986, i.e. without ASU. Only ridden a few kilometers after being built up as a VV.
