Lightweight plungers from Wank
For dynamic response behavior of the valve train. Set for both sides.
Lightened Wank tappets are one of the most effective optimizations for BMW two-valve boxers. Original tappets are made of robust but relatively heavy material. This weight has a direct impact on the response behavior of the valve train and thus on the power delivery – the keyword here is inertia. The significantly lighter Wank tappets are made of a high-quality alloy and are precisely manufactured. This significantly reduces the moving mass. The seemingly small difference in weight is particularly noticeable at high engine speeds. Less mass in the valve train means that the engine revs up much more easily. The reaction time to throttle commands is reduced and the response is noticeably more direct.
And if the cylinder head is already open: We recommend our one-piece KBH rocker arm blocks for even smoother running.
