Rare large Jeckel desert tank, model 208 with a capacity of 40 liters. For the G/S and GS models. Not an Indian or Chinese replica. A rare tank and an interesting addition to the G/S collection. A must for world and long-distance travelers at the time. The two front indentations are for the indicators of the G/S and are original, as are the drift marks in the tunnel and on the underside.Tank is in very good condition, and has recently been painted in Alpine white. No rust inside and no coating as standard. Rear brackets are included but not shown. All threads and retaining plates in good order. Copy of the certificate is included.
