Removing the inner bearing ring on the lower triple clamp (BMW 2V R and K models):

Everyone is familiar with this problem: While the other bearings can be removed quite easily with standard pullers, the bearing ring seated on the lower triple clamp cannot be reached with standard pullers. We don’t recommend the method commonly used in workshops—pushing the head tube through the triple clamp with a hydraulic press—because it compromises the fit. Removing the bearing with our tool is much gentler on the parts. We have the right tool and can remove the bearing. However, we do not provide any guarantee or warranty for any potential damage.
