This machine was built in the mid-1970s on the basis of a 75/5 with fine components. According to the previous owner, the builder was a mechanic from the Hoske company. The frame comes from a short-swing 75/5, the fork and brakes are from an R 90 S, the engine and gearbox from a 100/7. The 32/11 final drive ensures rapid progress. The work has been carried out with great sensitivity and expertise.
The machine is modeled on a mountain racing machine of the time. Many components are identical to those used by Helmut Dähne when building his racing machine for the Isle of Man. Numerous display instruments in the cockpit provide information on the time, amperage, oil temperature, etc. A beautiful, technically sophisticated and contemporary conversion that is rarely seen – and in this extravagant color scheme to boot!
